Last week was a very interesting week of action from start to finish. The first 13 fights of the night went about as perfectly as the UFC could have hoped for. Pretty much all of the fights delivered some good action, even the few that went to decision. I would say Basharat vs Garza was probably the worst fight of the night up until the main event and even then, it wasn't that bad of a fight. Then we saw what happened in the main and it really put a rain cloud over the whole event unfortunately. Personally, I don't really think Conor had a pre-existing injury. Maybe I am just out of the loop as far as social media goes these days, but it hasn't really felt like a true McGregor fight week to me, at least not yet. It's not like he's coming back to a softball matchup where he can just dust his opponent in the first minute. Max Holloway is realistically the biggest fight he could get where he stylistically has a chance. What is rare for a Conor card is that they actually built up the event around him quite a bit. We have quite a few former champions and ti...
