 Well, last week was a blood bath from the betting side of things for me and my first losing week since returning, but man was it brutal. I felt pretty good about most of my plays and they just really didn't go my way at all. Maybe it is a good thing for me that this week's card is pretty bad. There's not very many good fights and not too many places to jump in for a bet, so maybe a slow week is what I will need to get back on track.  Let's get to it. Just to be clear, my picks will be in the bolded font , and the real results will be listed next to it in italics after the fight is official. Official bets will be at the bottom.  Last week was a very interesting week of action from start to finish. The first 13 fights of the night went about as perfectly as the UFC could have hoped for. Pretty much all of the fights delivered some good action, even the few that went to decision. I would say Basharat vs Garza was probably the worst fight of the night up until the main event and even then, it wasn't that bad of a fight. Then we saw what happened in the main and it really put a rain cloud over the whole event unfortunately. Personally, I don't really think Conor had a pre-existing injury. There's video of him in the back throwing kicks right before he walked out and he seemed pretty normal to me. I think Conor wants out of his UFC deal to go fight on Netflix or in BKFC or whatever he wants to do, so we'll probably see him again whenever he's recovered, but I really don't know what kind of hype it will have.  After a week off, we are back in a big way for UFC 329. I'm starting to type this out on Thursday night, so I'm still holding my breath as to whether we actually see this card go down the way it is planned or not. If it does, it will mark the return of one Conor McGregor in a fight that I was very skeptical that we would ever actually see. It's been a long, long time since he last fought and it will be interesting to see just how many eyes he still brings to the sport. Maybe I am just out of the loop as far as social media goes these days, but it hasn't really felt like a true McGregor fight week to me, at least not yet. It's not like he's coming back to a softball matchup where he can just dust his opponent in the first minute. Max Holloway is realistically the biggest fight he could get where he stylistically has a chance. What is rare for a Conor card is that they actually built up the event around him quite a bit.
