UFC Vegas 66 Full Card Picks and Betting Tips

Well, we've made it to the final card of 2022 already and it's been a pretty solid year for the UFC. It doesn't feel like it's been the best year as there was a real slog between international fight week in July and like October that felt really bad. Like always, the UFC capitalizes off of the big moments and there were plenty of them, especially in the biggest fights. We're looking to finish off the year on a strong note. The bets have gone a bit sideways the last couple of weeks, so we need to bounce back and feel good heading into 2023. The picks have been decent though, so as long as we can keep it up there, it should be a good sign of things to come. Just to be clear,  my picks will be in the bolded font , and  the real results will be listed next to it in italics  after the fight is official. Official bets will be at the bottom. Bets are now being officially tracked at  BetMMA  as well.       Sergey Morozov defeats Journey Newson               Result: Morozov

UFC 282 Fallout: The UFC's Light Heavyweight Division is a Bit of a Mess

UFC 282 was actually a pretty good event in totality. The problems started with the co-main and then the ending of the main event really ended the night on a sour note even though most of the fights were really good. We have plenty of time to talk about all of that stuff though as we only have one more card left in 2022, so we'll have several weeks to discuss some of the other stories coming out of this past weekend. The main event between former champion Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev was supposed to crown a new champion after Jiri Prochazka vacated his title due to a pretty severe shoulder injury. The UFC opted to elevate the original co-main event to the main for the vacant title and left Glover Teixeira without a fight. I think most people disagreed with the decision and now here we are. You know by now that the fight ended in a split draw and the title is now still vacant. The UFC took quick action and was able to put together another title fight next month between Glove

UFC 282 Picks and Betting Tips

Sorry for the empty week, but with my parents out of town, I had to do a lot more with their house and dog. With new work schedule, I didn't have time to do anything after the Holland vs Thompson card and that is unfortunate because that was a great night of competition. Unfortunately, it was also one of my worst nights betting since I started tracking all of that here, but we'll look to get back on track this week with the last PPV of 2022. This card has certainly lost a lot of it's luster after losing the original main event, Jiri Prochazka vs Glover Teixeira II, but I think it is still a fine card and people who are criticizing it heavily are probably misremembering what a lot of this years PPV cards looked like under the title fights. This was supposed to really end the year with a great stretch of PPV cards and instead is ending the year with a more run of the mill PPV, but it's still largely in line with what the UFC was doing for the first half of the year. UFC Orlando Full Card Picks and Betting Tips

After a week off from the UFC, it feels good to be back making picks and lining up some bets. I'm also adjusting to the new schedule a bit and I'm not nearly as tired as I was during the first week, so this should be better than my last picks and bets where everything was a bit short. This is also a much better card and it's needed. The UFC can't just rely on PPVs to carry their viewership as it's going to eventually fall off if they keep running out these really thin Fight Nights. We don't have that this week and it should honestly be a great night of action. Just to be clear,  my picks will be in the bolded font , and  the real results will be listed next to it in italics  after the fight is official. Official bets will be at the bottom. Bets are now being officially tracked at  BetMMA  as well.  Yazmin Jauregui defeats Estela Nunes               Result: Jauregi by KO (1-0)          We have an interesting matchup to start off the night and it should be a good
